R+i Alliance was created in January 2005, to define, finance and execute the R&D programmes of common interest to SUEZ Environment's main subsidiaries and associated companies in the water business.

The organisation procures high added value research and innovation projects for the water business.  It allows focused discussions on technical and technological issues, together with significant leverage of the funds devoted to develop new knowledge and services in an increasingly competitive market.
